Obstacles and installation
We are keen to ensure that you can still use your garden for other purposes after the installation of one of our garden rooms, which is why we can build as close as 40cm to any existing obstacle or boundary. We will also work with you to carefully plan the position of each window and door to make the most out of your available garden space and the views on offer.
Foundations
The only pre-requisite necessary before building your dream garden room is that the site is clear of trees, shrubs and loose paving stones. In certain instances we can construct a garden studio on slopes, in which case additional charges to level the ground may apply.
We have used our foundation system since the installation of our first garden room, which begins one week prior to the installation date. Foundations are drilled and capped using our pile foundation system to ensure the ground beneath the garden studio is level and fully supported. Concrete slabs are then laid to support a heavy-duty floor panel to ensure a free flow of air underneath, reducing the risk of damp setting in.

A garden building is a real investment
A garden studio is becoming an increasingly popular addition as people recognise the benefits of having extra living space they can use in their gardens. If you need more room in your home but you don’t want the disruption of building an extension, investing in a garden room or studio is one of the best ways to add space and value to your property.
One of our garden studios could save you the expense of having to move to a new house, plus it can also add value and make your home more attractive to any future buyers.
Does a garden studio need planning permission?
Rest assured, in the majority of cases a garden studio does not require planning permission, allowing you to create one much quicker than a traditional home extension. Plus, it creates extra storage space and is a lot less hassle!
